Funny pictures

The park is going to be full this year. We have 420 sites and we already have 300 here. This is the first time the park is going to be full.
Here are some funny pictures.
We had a birthday party for Carol. Happy 70th.
Our Christmas Picture.
Our Christmas tree.
We had a Christmas parade. This is charlie's 1925 Model T truck with some nice lights on it.
Peggy got this sunrise picture on her early morning walk. Way too early for me.
We got a nice picture from Craig and Charlie with Jay Jay, Baby and Booger.
Jay Jay says: hold the aces.
 Canadian Gary at bingo.
Peggy watched Yogi, the cute little pup.
Oh, I qualified for a $100,000 hole in one shootout. I had to hit a 110 yard shot to a 10 foot green to qualify. Round two; 20 qualifiers got 3 shots to make the final 5 closest to the hole. I did get on the green again but I was not close enough. I came in 6th. I lost by 14 inches. The final five got one chance to shoot 165 yards for a hole in one for $100,000. So I didn't get to shoot for the hole in one shot. But it was fun.
I had an idea published in Trailer Life magazine. They wanted to pay me 35 bucks to publish it.

Still under construction

We're still under construction in our rolling home. The bed frame we're having made is 2 1/2 weeks behind. Our wood guy said he was sick. You all know how that goes. :-(
But we did get our steps rebuilt.
Old steps. With carpet on them and not very good carpet.
New steps. Peggy is working on the finish.
Look great, Peggy does a great job on the finish. Just another upgrade to our home.
The guy we had do the steps messed up and cut out some of the tile in front of the step. So we had to patch it. We're not that good at it. We had a good size piece of the flooring. But by the time we got done we had a whole lot of small pieces. It was hard to get the right piece to fit. It was kind a funny. But we got it fixed.
We cooked a Turkey with stuffing on the BGE for Thanksgiving.
It turned out really good with green bean casserole. I love the BGE!
We went with Lois to Mexico, she had to go to the dentist. I got all my Blood pressure and Cholesterol drugs for only $116 for the whole year. That would cost a lot more in the states. That's why this small town in Mexico has a lot of Dentist, Drug and Liquor stores.
It was a really nice day.
This is kind of funny. This is what happens when there are no building codes.
This is a cool bike rack at Wheezy's.
We got some new torch lights.
Peggy had Koby, the spoiled dog the other day. He's a good dog.
Christmas lights on the big truck.

Earth Shaking

I was inside reading when the RV started to shake. I thought someone was outside shaking the RV. I got up and looked to see if someone was messing with us. We have some friends that would play funny games on us. But it was a 4.8 earthquake! It lasted for about 30 seconds. That was the first time I have ever been in an earthquake. I thought maybe California slipped off into the sea. But, No it's still there.
We went to a house warming party at Barry and Carol's house. Nice big crowd with a lot of good food.
I took smoked salmon and jerky. Always a big hit.
People were 3 rows deep.
A good selfie with the new home owner, Carol!
Charlie brought his old toy out. It's a 1925 model T truck.
It's pretty cool and you don't have to hand crank start it. He took 25 years to rebuild it himself.
The only Gage on it is for the radiator water temperature.
It turns Red when it's hot.
I took Peggy out in the desert to do some shooting so she could go take the CCW class at Sprague's gun shop and Big Green Egg store. It was a one day class from 8 am to 5 in the afternoon.
She passed with 10 out of 10 in the kill zone. She sent in all the paper work and should get her permit in 90 days.
We took Lois out for dinner on her birthday at Wheezy's. Had a nice dinner and some fun with birthday candles and cheesecake!
Got this cool picture of Peggy with the sun setting in the west.
Going to start the Brine for our Turkey to cook on the BGE tomorrow. On the Menu is Turkey, Stuffing, Taters and Gravy, Green Bean casserole and Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream.

More Big Fixes

Just Fixing More Stuff. Our main TV would not come on sometimes. You never knew when it would work. So it was time for a new one and of course I had to rebuild the mount on the wall. The new one did not fit. Only one trip to the RV superstore.
Then the next thing was the toilet! It would not stop filling the bowl with a small drip, so after a little time it would overflow on the floor! So, it had to GO!
I took it out and changed the seal to try to stop the problem, reinstalled it and still had the same problem! So Peggy called the local RV superstore and got a new one. She called a plumber to install it but when he got here he said they don't install them in RV's. So handy Dan had to do it himself!
Installed and working with only one trip to the RV superstore! It's way better then the old one. It's more like one in a house.
It's not all work; we do get to party at happy hour at Rod and Karen's lot. Nice big group of friends in the park.
We made a trip to Mexico.
Peggy got some new glasses and I got a Pedicure. It was great.
Lois made it down for the season.
Happy hour again!
We had Koby one afternoon. He's a good dog.
And we also had Max while Lois worked in the kitchen.
Max at lunch at Wheezy's. He loves to go and behaves at the patio.

Construction Miracle

Our construction project is going really well. We got the floor in our bedroom done in 5 days! It's a miracle!
Frank and his crew did a great job. It only took them an hour and a half.
It looks great. Now we just have to wait for our new bed frame. We'll see if the project can continue as planned. Keep your fingers crossed.
Peggy has already started dog sitting. We had Kobe for the afternoon. He's a pretty funny little dog.
The weather has been great. We sat outside and watched Monday Night Football. The game starts at 5:30 out here in the west.
Cool looking moon the other night.
I've been cooking on the BGE. Pizza was killer. Made some really good Jerky on Friday.
A lot of people are starting to roll into the park. They predict 50 are going to check in on November 1. The park is going to be full this year. It's a nice park with big sites, priced right and more people know about it now.
