Just Having Fun

We're just relaxing and having some fun here in the Fortuna Foothills!
The weather has cooled down a little and we had a big rain storm last night. We got 1.25 inches of rain. That's a lot for here in the Desert.
I've been Golfing on Tuesdays and Thursday and have been hitting the little white ball pretty good so far this year.
Peggy, Lois and I made a trip to Mexico to do some shopping and have a pop or two. On our way back we stopped at our favorite place for lunch, the A&R Grill.
Peggy got a new Mexican table on our shopping trip.
We had Bloody Mary breakfast with Bill and Sharon at Bottoms Up. They have the best Bloody Marys around.
Putting our Thanksgiving turkey on the BGE. Made my mom's world famous stuffing. (Mine is Better)
Four hours later it was done.

In Loving Memory.
We need to pay tribute to our friend Jay Jay by remembering the happy times. Like when he would Pogo when it was 4:00 to let you know it was dinner time. Walks were slow and it meant stopping at EVERY tree. Jay Jay was a big personality in a small dog. We will miss him.

One of the best thing to cook on the BGE. A four bone Prime Rib!

Phase III

Phase III is done! We love paver bricks, so we got a 12 x 32 foot patio done in paver bricks.
It only took Frank (Francisco) 3 days to do the job and it looks great.
Tons of brick.
Almost done. Just a couple of cuts to do and put the joint sand on it.
Katie keeping an eye out for Frank to get here.
She did some supervising.
Part of phase III was 8 more ton of stone put down on the lot.
Katie had a play date with Daisy the Great Dane. Katie was a little shy at first, but they got acquainted and had a good time playing with all the toys.
We went over to Mexico for the Day of the Dead thing.
Live music at the bar in Mexico.
We got some new address tiles in Mexico.
Some low life stole our numbers during the summer. I'll take them down before we leave this spring.

The weather has been great, in the mid 80's and sunny.
That's why we love Yuma!
Good picture of our lot with the mountains behind us.

I love Pizza on the BGE.
