Cold and Hot

We know Hot and we know Cold. We lived in Michigan for 59 1/2 years. So we know cold. One time I was in the upper peninsula of Michigan and it was -37 degrees, I went out and started my diesel truck, I let it run for 30 minutes and when I got in it to leave, the truck was not even close to be warmed up. I had to go down the road for a long ways before it started to get warm. In the Cold when you touch something, it's Cold!

Now we know Hot. We've had some of the hottest weather that we've ever seen. When it's 113 degrees in the Hot Arizona sun, it's smoking Hot. When you touch something it's Hot. Even the city water coming out of the faucet is Hot and the floor in the RV is even Hot. So now we know Hot!

I think I like the Hot better than the Cold. No SNOW with the Hot!

This was one of the cooler days.

A beautiful sunset from the BGE RV Resort.

Peggy and I out for dinner at Wheezy's Grill and Sportsbar. We haven't been going out too much. We stay on the resort and cook a lot on the BGE.

Like these giants meatballs, We had these in Williams, AZ. They called it "The Baller".

They are so good.

Just let them smoke a bit.

A nice night out. We have all our solar lights out.

I went to the Knee doctor and got a couple of shots to make them work better. This was one of the patients ahead of me. He didn't talk much. I love Medicare! Back when I had that really bad Obamacare, I couldn't get this done.

Katie picture of the week. She loves the new seat cushions.

Phase III is Done!

Phase III is all done. It was a good show to watch the RV port guys put it up. It was about 110 degrees and sunny that day.

Three guys put it up in one day. That was fast. They arrived here at 11 am and were done at 4pm and that was with a 2 hour lunch break.

                                      Hard working guys.

All that work with just ladders and it's up over 15 feet.

Long sleeve shirts and pants with face covering to stay out of the sun.

                             They were the Skeleton crew.

All done with the RV in it.

Then the bricks are next! Frank, the brick guy, even showed up a day early. Frank is the MAN!.

Frank and his team got most of it done the first day. But his truck, a Ford, broke down on Saturday so he couldn't come back until Tuesday to finish the job.

Lots of hard work in 110 degrees.

A nice walkway to the shed.

                            Katie playing with the Bobcat.

And a bonus, I got the Satellite guy to come out and set us up with that. The whole phase III went pretty smooth. It's all done for now!

We gained a lot of nice shade and the RV stays a lot cooler inside.

We went out with Heather and Mike for a nice lunch and Peggy got this spicy beer drink.

Here is a little Video.
