Still on the Oregon coast

We've moved 80 miles down the coast to Coos Bay, OR. We like this small town. We're at The Mill RV Resort. It's right on the water.

We have a nice big site. One row from the water.

Our view.

The coast guard was making a beer delivery to one of their boats right in front of us.;-)

Our friends Craig and Charlie are staying at a park not far from here. We all went to dinner at Miller's at the Cove. The food was good. I had the Halibut fish and chips, Peggy got the fish tacos.

Craig and Charlie have two Bostons. Bonnie and Baby. It's just a black and white blur running around.

One brown Boston here in the park, Archie, joined in the fun.

Craig, Gaylin and I played a round of golf at Coos Golf Club. I played like Sh#t. I only had one good hole. The tee was up 36 feet above the green. It's a pretty nice view down to the green. I missed my birdie putt.

Peggy and Charlie stopped at one of our favorite stops in Coos Bay, The Silver Dollar. Jesse is the owner. She is 76 years young and still works everyday.

We had Craig and Charlie over for Reuben egg rolls on the BGE. This is the best thing I've done on the BGE in a long time. It's good to try different things on the egg. The egg can do anything!

Bill was cutting the grass and hit a rock into his windshield. What a bummer.

Poor Gracie got stung by a bee in the face. Bummer.

It had to be the egg rolls, of course.

New and old friends on the road.

We've moved to a nice park in Waldport, OR.  McKinley's RV Park & Marina.

We have a really nice pull thru site with on a cement pad.

The weather has been great for here on the coast. It's up to 61 and sunny right now at 10 in the morning.

You can rent a boat and all the gear to go crabbing. Lots of people do that here. But we wouldn't know what to do if we caught one, there are no crabs in Michigan.

They will even cook your crab for you.

On the way here we have to go thru a scary tunnel. The Garmin goes crazy on the way. But it's tall enough in the middle. We just hope no big rig is coming in at us.

We met Gary and Tammy at the local Moose Lodge. Gary just retired, good for him.

They even rode there E-bikes over to our park.

We had a good dinner at Azul Mexican restaurant. The food was real good and the beer was cold.

We took a short drive up to Newport to meet up with Dennis and had lunch at the Barge Inn. Not sure why but I didn't take a picture of Dennis or his new motorhome. So I had to use this old picture.

We just changed some of our reservations after we found out that one of the state parks we were going to stay for 2 weeks did not have full hook up. We can not do that for 2 weeks!

Matt cooking some fish with "Slap yo Momma" spice mix. Slap yo Momma is good on popcorn too. Try it sometime.

Out of the heat!

We are out of the heat and loving it! We moved to Canyonville, OR to Seven Feathers RV Resort. It's one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed at. Big pull thru site with a ton of beautiful grass and a nice patio.

We only had one little problem here. An old dude in a class A came in and forgot his power cord! I don't know how you can do that. So he was running his generator. Then he got on the shuttle and left his generator running and went to the hardware! Well after 3 hours of his generator running he fixed his problem. It was real rude.

Seven Feathers RV Resort has a casino. So we had to try our luck. Should have saved our money. No good luck.

Canyonville is a really small town but it had one little bar in it. Canyon Creek Tavern. We had lunch there and it was good. We met some nice people in the bar.

They had this really strange house plant on the bar.

We saw some fire on the way.

I had to fix our microwave oven. Got up one morning and all the lights on the microwave were out. I checked the power going to it and all was good. So I took it apart and found a fuse blown. There is always something to fix in the RV.

We are now in Dune City, OR on the coast and the weather is a lot cooler here. It's in the low 60's and in the 50's at night. We have a nice site. You can't see the site next to you. We have the BGE out and using it almost every day. The sand dunes are right next to the park. A lot of ATVs in this park.

We just follow the sun to keep warm.

Sharon sent us a picture of Gracie. She is so cute.
