Hot Weather

 It has been crazy Hot here, It got to 110 one day. It's about 20 to 30 degrees above normal. One day we didn't even golf it was too hot. 

Bill got to draw for the Queen of Hearts at the VFW. But he got the 7 of Hearts instead.

We got the tow stuff on the truck. We are ready to go. But not until May 13th. 

I put a battery monitor on the battery. The other stuff is a diode to charge the battery from the motorhome and a remote battery shut off.

The battery monitor goes to my phone to see all the information on the battery. I love gadgets! The truck is ready to tow.

We installed a couple of new cameras to monitor the lot when we are gone. These are the best I have ever had. Eufy S4 has 3 cameras in it. It will track you and can zoom in too. It has a solar panel to charge it. So you can mount it anywhere you like.

I put the other one on the shed. You can see the solar panel on the roof. This one is an Eufy S340. It was cheaper than the S4. But it works pretty well.

Gord cooked a great St. Patrick's Day dinner. Corned beef and cabbage. They went back home already.

Great Weather

 The weather is THE best we have had here in all the years we have been here. Not a lot going on just golfing and going out with our friends. Oh, we did get a (new to us) truck. The car had 103,000 miles on it and it was a good time to get a new truck. And we found a good deal on the truck we were looking for. It was at the first dealer we went to.

It's a Chevy Colorado Z71 with 40,000 miles on it. The only thing wrong with it is, it's BLACK, but, it does match the motorhome.

I have ordered lots of accessories for the truck. It was kind of hard to get into so we got running boards, a bed liner and a tonneau cover, but that hasn't showed up yet.

Peggy helped me install the running boards. It took us about an hour to install and they work great. Still need to get the towing stuff on it yet.

 We are in the middle of changing banks. The credit union in Saginaw was not working well anymore, so we changed to a bank here in Yuma. If you ever need to change banks, don't do IT! It's been a huge pain in the butt.  

Out to dinner with Bill and Marsha at High Tanks Taproom in Welton. The beer and food are pretty darn good.

There's always something to fix on the RV. Our RO water needed to change the membrane in it, but the new membrane didn't fit in the old system. So I had to get a whole new system. The old one was 6 years old.  

A huge gang at 4LOKO's for killer tacos and burgers and cold beer.
