We have been crazy busy. We went to the largest Howling at the moon ever. But it got cloudy and we did not see the moon.
There had to be 1500 people or more there. The music was good and we cooked hot dogs on the grill.
Jeff, Diana, Peggy and I went to the Rodeo at the fair grounds here in Yuma. That was our second rodeo.
This guy had a good ride.
Here was another good ride.
This guy and his horse did all kinds of tricks with ropes and guns.
They had live music before the rodeo.
We toured the Yuma Territorial Prison. It was very interesting. That was a good place not to go to back in the day.
One of the cell blocks. Each cell had 8 Prisoners in it. The funny thing is, I had just watched the movie "3:10 to Yuma." In 1876 the first seven inmates entered the Territorial Prison at Yuma and were locked into the new cells they had to build themselves. A total of 3,069 prisoners, including 29 women, lived within the walls during it's 33 years of operation.
The museum was very nice.
We are going to go to Tombstone after we leave here on April 1st. We like the little town and Big Nose Kate's Saloon where they have the best Reuben sandwiches I have ever had.
We had a guided tour and the guide was very good.
This was inside the "Dark Cell". where they would lock up trouble makers in the dark.
Did not look like fun.
Almost left Peggy there.
Flowers in the Desert.
And check out this wild looking moth I saw in the desert too.
This is the weirdest pool table we have ever seen. It's at the Mine Shaft Saloon in Yuma.
Throw-Back Picture of the Blog.
Biff and Attilla relaxing on the couch.
