Monument Valley

We stopped at Monument Valley for two days. It's beautiful! We paid $8 each to drive a 17 mile loop on the Navajo nation park. It's a dirt road and it's rough. It took us about 2 hours to do.

We stayed at the over priced KOA. It was $110 a night and it's NOT that nice. We hate KOA's!

Our KOA site.

Then we moved to Clifton, CO. The funny thing is, this park is an old KOA. But it's run way better and it's not a KOA anymore!

Peggy was driving and I was taking pictures. Utah is one of the most beautiful states.

I love Utah

The week before, we were in Williams, AZ. This is one of our favorite parks, Grand Canyon Railroad Park. The town is a nice little tourist town.

In Williams, you can easily walk downtown and on the way, check out the railroad stuff. It's great!

The world famous Sultana Bar. We always have to stop here and have one and on Sunday they have a great breakfast. It rained every day we were in Williams.
We met a talented artist in the park, Keith Smyth,  and he gave us one of his prints. We'll get it framed and put it up in the RV. Thanks Keith.

With all that rain, we developed a small leak in the RV. So I had to drive 40 miles round trip to get some Dicor roof sealant. I hate going up on the roof. Peggy stays on the ground with her phone ready to call 911 and take pictures of me on the roof. I used up the whole tube of sealant so it won't leak again!

I climbed up again to check my work the next day and it looked good.

On The Road

We've done a couple of stops already. At the first stop we got the alternator problem fixed at a Freightliner dealer in Phoenix. The issue was, the nut holding the pulley was loose. The next stop was epic, we stopped at Fox's RV Resort on the Colorado river. We had a blast there. We'll be going back there again! Then we moved to Lake Havasu Falls RV Resort. This is a nice park. We've been there before. Now we're in Williams, AZ at Grand Canyon Railroad RV Resort. This is one of our top 10 parks. We've been here two other times. We have a site right next to the railroad tracks.

That was the loose nut. They pulled the Motor Home into the service area and fixed it in 5 minutes at no cost. Drove it in and out in 20 minutes. That was a great thing.

This is at Fox's RV Resort. See if you can find our sticker on the pig.

Peggy on the floating bar having a delicious red beer.
Like everything else, they've raised the price of a cold beer to $5. So we didn't hang out at the bar too much. See if you can find our sticker in this photo.
They have a nice little beach next to the boat launch. So we hung out there most of the time and Katie loved it too.
At our next stop we hooked up with Trish and Alan. We met them up in the White mountains back in the COVID days. They live in Lake Havasu City. We went to their house and they cooked us a killer steak dinner.
Out on their back patio in the Tiki bar.
And then they took us out on their pontoon boat. We had a blast. Lake Havasu is a beautiful lake.
Katie and Trish. Katie had a good time on the boat.

This is at Steamboat cove where we stopped and beached the pontoon to take a little break and take in the scenery.
We had a great day on the pontoon!
Thanks for everything Alan and Trish!
I did a little RV security upgrade. I added a Google door bell. So far it works great.
