Stops #9, 10 and 11

I'm a little behind on the Blog, So here we go.
Stop #9 was in Burns, OR. for one night, at the Burns RV Park. We've been there before and the new owners have made lots of improvements. They even have 3 Teepees that you can rent.
Our site at Burns RV Park. Didn't unhook. Ordered a pizza from Glory Days Pizza shop and it was really good.

Stop #10. Ambassador RV Resort in Caldwell, Idaho. Another park that we've been before. It's a real nice park with huge pull-thrus.
They have a nice dog park. Katie met Matilda, the cute, 4 month old English Bull Dog. They had a ton of fun running and playing.
This is the only picture I have of our site. But you can see how nice the park is. It got real hot one day, 107 degrees. That's the hottest weather we've ever been in. By closing up the garage and running two air conditioners, I could only get the inside down to 80. But that didn't feel too bad.
I saw in Yuma, it has been up around 114. Now that is HOT!

Got the big truck hand washed and of course the next day it rained on and off all day. Peggy would go out and wipe it off and an hour later it would rain again. But it still looks good.

Stop #11 We are at 93 RV Park in Twin Falls, ID. I made the reservations here and I must have screwed them up. We only have power and water, no sewer! Good thing it's 50 amp. I hate that when that happens.
The sites are big pull-thrus. It's a little cloudy today but still nice and warm.

Katie is almost 8 mouths old and doing great. Here she is on the look out in her pen. We love the pen set up.
Oh, got this picture from Bill and Marsha. They're in Alaska. Looks like they're having a great time.

Peggy and I in Newport. Cooking brats for some friends here in the park. You can see it's a little cool here.

Stop #8. One of the best.

We've moved to Crown Villa RV Resort in Bend, OR. This is what some people call a "High Roller" RV Park. The sites are huge, back-ins with paver bricks, double wide. We like this park and have been here before.
Bend is a nice, growing town with lots of thing to do and see.
Our site. The only thing I don't like is my satellite doesn't work here. They have these huge pine trees that block the satellites. I did give it the "One Beer Search". After we get plugged in and the water hooked up and the slides are out, I turn the Satellite Dish on and get a Beer. After the Beer is gone if the Dish didn't find any satellites, you turn it OFF. That's the "One Beer Search".
Bend has 28 micro Brewers, We're going to try to hit them all.(;-) So far we've got two down. We're trying to find the one with the best pretzel. This is the pretzel at the Good Life Brewery. It was pretty good. But so far the pretzel at Immersion Brewery is in the lead for the best.
The pretzel at Immersion Brewery was so good we didn't get a good picture until it was gone.
At Good Life Brewery and Distillery
they make some good Gin too.
Oh, before we left Newport an airplane crash landed on the beach not far from our park. Luckily no one was badly injured.
I think I finally fixed our pantry door from coming open when we travel. This should stop that for good. It was a one hammer job.🔨
  Katie loves this park.
She got a new toy at PetSmart, Flat Squirrel. She loves toys.

36 pound of Pork Butts. Good job stacking those Butts, Joe.

Having fun on the coast

We're still in Newport, OR. On Monday Dennis and Linda rolled in on the site right across from us. We met them here last year.
We're on site 49; the best site in the park.
We've had one day of rain, otherwise, the weather has been pretty good for being on the coast.
The park had a customer appreciation day with a free weenie roast. A nearby animal sanctuary brought in some exotic pets.
There was a 9 month old baby kangaroo. . .
And this huge desert tortoise. . .
And a smaller one hiding in the dust pan.
We're right next to the Rogue Brewery. Here they are smoking some Barley in this old smoker outside of their barrel works.
It was Hawaiian day at the Rogue Tap-house on the water front. If you have your Hawaiian shirt on it's only $3 pints. Now that's a good deal. Peggy, Dennis, Linda and I at the bar. Dennis lent me one of has Hawaiian shirts. After we went to Szabo's Steakhouse and got the Rib Eye special $12.95 for a delicious 14 oz steak.
