We are in Sheridan, WY. One of our favorite towns. We are staying at Peter D's RV Park we have been here a couple of other times.
Our site at Peter D's. We were the first ones to check in this year. He opened on May 1st. It's been pretty cold and a lot of rain the past two days. The high was 46 on Tuesday.
Before we left Spearfish we took a ride thru the Spearfish Canyon. We got some good pictures of the Mountain Goats in the canyon.
They were right on the road next to a nice stream. You couldn't miss them.
Nice waterfall on the drive.
We took a tour of the High Plains Western Heritage Center. Saw a lot of old western stuff, like the hearse from the old west. It's pretty cool, but I don't need a ride in it yet.
They had this 17 foot tall paper mache statue of Tennessee Vaughn memorial on a horse.
Here we are in one of our favorite bars, The World Famous Mint Bar. It opened in 1907, a little before my time. Lots of cool stuff in it.
We are moving tomorrow on our way to Ennis, MT.
Picture of the Blog.
Peggy and I way back in the day. Having some good boating fun with the 22' Donzi. That was a fun boat.
