102 Degress

We are still in Caldwell and it has been hot, 102 was the highest so far.
We went to Pam and Paul's (a.k.a. Double P) for dinner Friday night. We met them in Hurricane, UT last year. They have a really nice house out in the country. They have a small flock of sheep.
 Pam and Paul.
These sheep look like goats. But they are American Black Belly sheep.
Here's the flock.
Pam and Peggy.

On Saturday we went downtown Boise to the framers market. It was real nice until we got back to the truck and found we gotten a parking ticket!
While we were downtown there was a bicycle parade. Lots of funny dressed people.
They even let the chickens in the parade here.
We got some free Beer passes so we had to find the Payette Brewery to collect our free Beer. And we got a self guided tour of the brewery.

On Tuesday we went to the World Center for Birds of Prey.
This one was a Peregrine Falcon.
This one was keeping an eye on me. Good thing he was on the other side of the fence.
Here was a huge Owl. They are breading California Condors here to release into the wild near the Grand Canyon.
Here is a California Condor.
Peggy got this picture of the Pioneer Fire just north of Boise. That night on TV they had a bunch of the same pictures on the news.
Wow look at that clean truck! There is a truck wash close to the park.
We have been reading our friends Craig and Charlie's blog and they are having slide out problems. We can relate to that. Sometimes I think that slide outs on RV's are a bad idea. There are two kinds of slides, Ones that fail and ones that are going to fail. It took us a month to fix our slide out problem and the floor that it damaged.

Live Happy and Always Go Big.
