Newport, OR

We've moved to a nice RV park in Newport, Oregon. Just a 117 mile trip up the Oregon Coast Hwy. But it is one of the most beautiful drives you can make. We're in the Port of Newport Marina & RV Park. We have a nice site right by the marina. We got the golf cart out and can use it here. The Rogue Brewery is in walking distance of the park.
This is a picture from our site.
The Oregon Coast Hwy isn't very wide in most spots. We had to go through a tunnel by the Sea Lions Cave. Our GPS was going crazy at the height of the tunnel. It said it was only 11' 6" feet high, but that was on the close side, it was 14' 6" in the middle. So, no big deal, but I was glad not to meet another big truck or RV coming from the other way.
We are 13' 4" tall.
The Highway is a little scary sometimes. . . Mountain on the right, Ocean on the left!

One of the fish cleaning stations here in the park. I think those are Halibut. The tuna are going to start running soon. I'd like to grill some tuna.

We took the golf cart down to watch the boat ramp. It's always fun to watch people launch boats.
Crabbing is big here too. They put a chicken leg in the trap to attract the crabs.
We're in a Tsunami Hazard Zone.
This is painted on the roads.
